Out of everyone I know, I can name only one person who doesn’t love chocolate. Then again, maybe they haven’t tried KOHLER’s delicious Original Recipe Chocolates.
KOHLER’s Original Recipe Chocolates was founded in 2007 by Herb Kohler, Executive Chairman of Kohler Co. Mr. Kohler thought the world deserved a better version of the turtle so his Five-Star staff at The American Club created the Terrapin, which was the first product to launch.
All products are handmade with the finest ingredients by Head Chocolatier, Anette Righi DeFendi, who we met at the Summer Fancy Foods Show.
She told us all about the chocolate KOHLER was showcasing. Sampling was encouraged.
The chocolates below were the Sugar-free Landscape Tiles and were so divine. The balance of cocoa, raisins and nuts really made this something worth trying.
Each product is handmade in Kohler, Wisconsin at Destination Kohler, a Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond resort.
Dark Chocolate Candy Bars – A classic favorite, these dark chocolate candy bars are now available in three varieties: Savory, made with 55% cocoa; Complex, made with 70% cocoa and Bold, made with 78% cocoa.
Sugar-Free Landscape Tiles – Offering the same delicious taste of Kohler Chocolate, but without the sugar, Landscape Tiles are made with no-sugar added dried blueberries, roasted almonds and sugar-free chocolate that will satisfy any sweet tooth.
Divine Chunks – Filled with a chunky peanut butter center, the Divine Chunks are available with a milk chocolate shell. Each handcrafted piece has a unique color of pink and purple.
The fine folks at KOHLER sent us some scrumptious Holiday Caramels to sample at home. They came in a beautifully wrapped box. It would make an amazing hostess gift, though you may want to keep them for yourself.
The flavors of the caramels were gingersnap (the red ones), sea salt (silver), golden (gold), and almond green (green).
They were all delicious, but all of us kept going back to the gingersnap caramels (red). So amazing. The almond green was also incredible.
