Lighter Coffee Frappe (WW Friendly)

I love coffee (even though I’m not supposed to drink it due to stomach issues). I love frappes too, even though my waistline doesn’t like me drinking them. Recently I had worked with a new sweetener, Dolcia Prima Allulose, and gotten some samples of Sweetie Ice Cream. Since they had sent a coffee flavor, I decided to make a lighter coffee frappe using it.. And it was delicious! I’m following WW, so this works out to be 3 WW SmartPoints. Do you want to learn how to make this Lighter Coffee Frappe (WW Friendly)?

Figuring out the SmartPoints

If you are following WW, like I am, a 1/2 cup serving of Sweetie Ice Cream is 2 SmartPoints (I used their App to figure out the SmartPoints), then you can either add skim milk or fat free creamer (I added 4 tablespoons of fat free creamer, coffee (I used bottled cold brew), some sweetener (I used stevia), and ice. Blend and enjoy. I used a lot of ice, so it really made a big portion!
You could add in some sugar free syrups like a caramel or a chocolate — but I didn’t have anything low in points. But next time I make this, I would find a delicious sugar free syrup or top with fat free whipped cream. Yummy! If Sweetie ice cream is not available in your area, Halo Top’s Mocha Chip Ice Cream could work, but it’s an extra point.

What You’ll Need

Cold Brew Coffee – You can use between 12- 16 ounces. If you don’t have cold brew, make your coffee double strength and let it cool down.
Sweetie Ice Cream (or any low in points Ice Cream like Halo Top)
Fat Free Creamer – at least 3-4 tablespoons or use a cup of fat free milk. If possible, use a lower carb milk like Fairlife Ultra Pasturized Skim Milk for 2 points a cup.
Stevia or Truvia packet

Sweetie Ice Cream

Instructions

Sweetie Coffee Ice Cream into blender

Take your cold brew coffee, creamer or fat free milk, Sweetie ice cream, stevia or Truvia packet, and ice and blend. Now you can add some zero sugar whipped cream and/or zero sugar chocolate syrup, but that’s too sweet for me. I only like it coffee flavored. And yes, I’m the type of person who orders a light coffee frappuccino®- not one with syrups and whipped cream. Just remember to add to figure out the points if you do add extra ingredients.
Serve!

If you need a blender, I love my Vitamix. Get it on Amazon. Mine is 8 years old and works perfectly.

I’ve been doing the WW online plan and I love it. It’s the perfect time to start!
