Two Juice Minimum is a comedy club experience for kids starring Mark Malkoff and guest starring different comedians like Mark Linn-Baker, Grizz Chapman, and Rachel Dratch. When I heard about this I thought it was a brilliant idea, why not give kids a hilarious show just for them? It is recommended for kids age 4-10, so I brought my 6 year old daughter and she had a great time.
The show revolves around the very talented Mark Malkoff and several other comedians who do sketches that had the audience in hysterics. My daughter’s favorite part was the “Bell of Doom” where kids were invited to come to the stage and ring the very scary bell….and instead of something scary they were given…..ice cream, video games or money! She just found it hilarious.
There were all sorts of humor, lots of physical jokes and audience participation. The special guest comes out midway through the show and sits to chat with Mark (like a late night talk show), then they do a sketch and give the kids high fives. We saw Rachel Dratch when we attended — she told some funny stories and was rightfully offended by the stinky cooking “Chef Dude” came up with.
I definitely recommend this show! I found the show entertaining as well especially the videos of some of Mark’s other work like living in IKEA for a week or seeing what he could bring into the Apple store. These were played as they reset the stage or changed costumes so there was no lag in entertainment. Tickets are only $10 with no actual drink minimum, but drinks and snacks are available for purchase from the bar. I recommend buying tickets early and make sure to show up at least half an hour before show time as the show is very popular and a bit crowded.
