Make Your Teen’s Room Smell Better + Relaxation Tips from Gabby Bernstein

07/03/2019 by The Mama Maven

This is a sponsored post. Thanks for supporting The Mama Maven Blog!

With a teen and two tweens in my house, my home doesn’t always smell fresh. But my teen’s room is even worse. It was downright stinky! We had a hard time making things better until we found a solution to make our teen’s room smell much better. Air Wick® has us moms covered 24/7, providing continuous odor neutralization at home. Air Wick® Freshmatic Pure Automatic Spray will let you fill your home with continuous, fresh fragrance for up to 60 days. Read on to learn why you need this and hear some relaxation tips from Gabrielle Bernstein. Make Your Teen’s Room Smell Better + Relaxation Tips from Gabrielle Bernstein

I attended Air Wick®’s Mobile Meditation Event last week with the fabulous Gabby Bernstein. She taught us a couple of things – one being a quick way to de stress by taking a breath in for 5 beats, holding it for a count of 5, then exhaling for 5 beats.

This was actually really helpful and can be done anywhere to keep calm (like in the bathroom when your kids are banging on the door, or when your kid spills milk all over the floor (yet again), or when you’re on a 9 seater plane from Denver to Telluride (which also happened later that day).

Then she taught us a simple mantra to also relax — you pick up your fingers and tap your four fingers on your thumb one at a time (in order), saying Peace Begins With Me. This is something you can use to calm yourself down or even teach it to your kids to calm them down.

While we were listening to Gabby, we also got to relax with Air Wick® Freshmatic Pure Automatic Spray in the background, making things smell even better. Gabby is a new mom herself to a 6 month old baby boy and gets that moms need things to be calmer and to banish the bad scents from our homes (because diapers, vomit, pet accidents…etc).

I placed the Air Wick® Freshmatic Pure Automatic Spray in my teen’s room and put the citrus fragrance in. I noticed a difference almost immediately. I didn’t have to hold my breath when I walked in there! Plus his younger brother, who shares the room with him, also loved the new smell of the room. He just started using deodorant himself, so appreciating a fresh smell is important to him. I set it up the day I left for my Telluride, Colorado trip and my husband was very appreciative that our teen’s room was noticeably nicer to be in. It was a total mom win for me.

So, if your teen’s room is a little too smelly or during key life moments (new baby, new pet, holidays, back to school, summer vacation) and the odors that come with them, parents can rest easy knowing their home will smell great.

I was just thinking about this today for my mudroom. When I have the ac on it doesn’t really have any ventilation.

No teens in my home right now but I still remember that smell! lol We do have a toddler and a cat so I can imagine this would work well for their smelliness too.

Love it! I’m all about making my kids’ room smell better. My son’s room smells like something died in there. It’s seriously grody.
