Zero Point Air Fryer Butternut Squash Fries

Update: The points for this is actually zero. Butternut Squash is zero points and I used oil spray, not olive oil. If you use a condiment, then track those points! I was craving fries, but how could I have fries and still stay on my WW plan? By making air fryer butternut squash fries! ?All you need is two ingredients and your trusty air fryer and you’re good to go! Since I am following WW (formerly called Weight Watchers), I knew that my recipe would need to fit my plan. I was so excited to make my air fryer butternut squash fries!

AIr Fryer Butternut Squash Fries

I bought pre-cut Butternut Squash at the supermarket last week. I was totally craving fries and I figured this was a good way to take care of my craving.

WW SP Value is 0 SP for 8 Fries

But who’s really going to only eat 8 pieces? It’s just not realistic, but knowing they’ll shrink down a little, I knew that I could have the whole package or if my family wanted to share with me. However, I just checked the free list on blue and Butternut Squash is 0 points, so I am going to count this as 0.

And if you haven’t joined WW yet, here’s a special deal!

The NEW myWW Program is Here and it’s Our Most Customized Ever! WW is Weight Watchers Reimagined. Join Today!.

I used Pompeian Oil Spray instead of olive oil (so that’s zero points). Really coat the butternut squash.

Fries coated with oil spray

Put it in your air fryer at 400 degrees for around 14 minutes – check it a few times and shake your basket.

Make sure you shake a few times. Serve!

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 1 package Crinkle Cut Butternut Squash
  • Olive Oil or any kind of oil spray Can use olive oil, just remember to track WW points

Instructions

  • Spray oil spray on butternut squash
  • Make sure butternut squash is thoroughly coated
  • Place in air fryer at 400 degrees farenheit for 14 minutes, shake a few times.
  • Serve

I would recommend making this for one person, double or triple if it would be more (because they will shrink down).
