Moms’ Night Out with Momtrends and Parents Magazine

10/22/2018 by The Mama Maven

This is a sponsored post, thanks for supporting The Mama Maven Blog!

I’ve said it before – Moms deserve a night out! Our friends at Momtrends. and Parents Magazine were gracious enough to give me that break recently. We were treated to a night of pampering, delicious bites, massages, gifts, and more. Can I get this every night? Moms’ Night Out with Momtrends and Parents Magazine

We were warmly welcomed by Nicole Feliciano of Momtrends.

As well as Liz Vaccariello, the editor-in-chief of Parents.

Destiny of City Life, Suburban Wife, Lyla of Globetrotting Mommy, me, and Heather of US Japan Fam.

It was great to schmooze and just relax. Things have been very stressful lately and I really needed this! We nibbled on delicious bites, chatted, and got to find out about cool products from the sponsors.

Our Sponsors:

Boiron

I started off with a delicious smoothie at Boiron’s Make Your Own Smoothie Bar. I opted for greens (spinach, kale, and romaine) with honeydew, mango, and almondmilk.

We added a little garnish and toppings and it was superb.

If you’re not familiar with Boiron, they are a company that makes homeopathic medicines can keep parents well prepared for the upcoming cold and flu season. Last year you may have heard about their very popular Oscillococcinum, which works best when taken at the first sign of flu-like symptoms. They also have ColdCalm Liquid Doses, which offer multi-symptom cold relief for children 6 months and up; and, Children’s Chestal Honey Syrup, which relieves all types of coughs. These homeopathic medicines do not cause drowsiness or sleeplessness. There’s no risk of overdose and they won’t interact with other medications, herbs, or supplements. Boiron’s medicines also do not contain any of the ingredients questioned by the FDA for use in children under age 4.

Culturelle

Next, we got to pack our own diaper bags at the Culturelle® Baby Probiotics station. Culturelle® Baby Probiotics is a line of probiotic products created to help build a strong foundation for baby’s healthy growth and development. I wish this had been around when my kids were babies! I decided to pack a diaper bag to gift to a friend and his wife who are having a baby in a few months. They are going to be first-time parents and I wanted to make sure that my gift was practical.

I packed diapers, a bodysuit, binkies, blanket, bib, rattle, sippy cup, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, first aid kit, snacks for mom, water bottle, lip balm, diaper cream, and wipes. As well as zippered plastic bags (you can use them for dirty clothes, dirty binkies, dirty cups, etc). Did I miss anything?

Culturelle is the #1 Pediatrician Recommended Brand† and it’s safe and gentle ingredients that work naturally with your baby’s body*. The products I included were Grow and Thrive, which promotes the development of a healthy digestive and immune system, and combined with Vitamin D, an important nutrient for babies to help them build strong bones; and Calm and Comfort, which helps reduce crying and fussiness due to occasional digestive upset.

JCPenney

Then we checked out the Peyton & Parker™ collection, exclusively at JCPenney. I got to play stylist (not my strong suit!).

JCPenney just launched their new lifestyle brand: Peyton & Parker. Designed entirely by their in-house Design Team at JCPenney and sold exclusively in their stores and online, I think you’re going to like it. This look is supposed to represent my family (minus my oldest son. I know my daughter would love the sequin striped dress, I just loved the soft grey wrap shirt, and my husband and my youngest son would love the plaid shirts and pants.

Moms' Night Out with Momtrends and Parents Magazine | The Mama Maven BlogPeyton & Parker is a collection of classic womens, mens, kids and home looks that mix & match to create effortless, yet put-together style for the family. What I really liked is that it had clothes that would totally appeal to every member of my family. We do shop at JCPenney pretty often, so I can’t wait to shop this collection.

Lastly,

Then I went over to the Vtech Relaxation Station. While I didn’t have a chance to get a massage (too much chatting), I loved all the toys I saw.

VTech develops high-quality, innovative educational products that enrich children’s development and make learning fun! They offer fun learning toys that kids and moms alike will love! We’ve owned many Vtech toys and it’s a brand that I’ve always trusted.
