My kids are picky eaters. So when Kidfresh contacted me and asked me if I wanted to try out their healthy frozen meals, I was game. My oldest child, Ben, started being picky at 18 months of age. Suddenly I found myself serving way to many versions of Macaroni and Cheese to him (something that my mother NEVER served my brother and I growing up). I would puree veggies and hide them in the M & C (which is what the cool kids call it). But I don’t always have time to make a cheese sauce, steam veggies and puree them and pasta. While I’m pretty careful what brands I give him — most macaroni and cheeses on the market aren’t that great for kids (with tons of sodium and ingredients I can’t pronounce), I hadn’t found an easy frozen brand that I could keep on hand for those nights when I didn’t have time to cook (hey, it happens).
Enter Kidfresh Foods. I’ve wanted to try their kid meals for a while and excited we finally got a chance. We sampled three of their meals; Rainbow Rice and Chicken, Wagon Wheels Mac + Cheese, and Muy Cheese Quesadillas.

Because my children LOVE Macaroni and Cheese so much, I decided to serve it to them last. My kids will eat rice, but they usually prefer pasta, so I was really surprised when they went nuts over the Rainbow Rice and Chicken. My oldest child doesn’t like to eat chicken or meat, but he really liked this dish (maybe I didn’t tell that there was chicken in it – and he didn’t notice it).
Next I cut up the quesadillas and served them. They were a bigger hit. Then I served the Macaroni and Cheese and they nearly fell out of their seats. Instant hit!
Then, we tried Kidfresh’s newest product, Super Duper Chicken Nuggets to try.

Thank you Kidfresh, for giving us a healthy choice in kids’ meals. We will definitely be buying more!
