Keeping Healthy Habits with StarKist Chicken Creations

01/17/2019 by The Mama Maven

This is a sponsored post. Thank you for supporting The Mama Maven Blog

I’m on a big push to have healthier habits this year. One of my biggest issues is lunch. If I’m out and about, then I’m tempted to make an unhealthy choice. So, I’ve been packing lunch if I know I may be somewhere where I may not be able to find a good option. StarKist Chicken Creations Single Serve Pouches are my new go-to. I can quickly throw one in a my bag, along with a reusable bottle of water and a snack and I have a fast and healthy lunch. Or I can open one up and enjoy it over a simple salad. Either way, I this is one delicious healthy habit. Keeping Healthy Habits with StarKist Chicken Creations

If you’re not familiar, StarKist offers a variety of tuna and salmon pouches that is perfect for an on-the-go lifestyle. Choose from StarKist Chicken Creations  BOLD Buffalo Style,StarKist Chicken Creations Ginger Soy, StarKist Chicken Creations Chicken Salad, and StarKist Chicken Creations  Zesty Lemon Pepper.

Packed with 9-10 grams protein and between 70-90 calories, this is something that  should be in your pantry.

I feel better having these StarKist Chicken Creations single serve pouches with me. They’re high-quality flavored white meat chicken pouches that can be eaten straight from the pouch (just make sure you have a fork) or eaten over some salad greens.

Keeping Healthy Habits with StarKist Chicken Creations | The Mama Maven BlogWhen my youngest son had a playdate a couple of weeks ago, I made sure I had StarKist Chicken Creations Chicken Salad with me. We were at a local play place and I didn’t want to grab a something unhealthy.

Keeping Healthy Habits with StarKist Chicken Creations | The Mama Maven BlogWhile my son and his friend were playing, I got hungry. I pulled out my StarKist Chicken Creations  Chicken Salad, water bottle, and a sour pickle.

By the time by my son was ready for his lunch (a cheeseburger and a giant pretzel), I was full and didn’t even try to grab a piece of his pretzel. This time I wasn’t even tempted.

I also love to enjoy StarKist Chicken Creations over a simple salad.

Just start with some lettuce (yes, I still love romaine), a cucumber, and some grape tomatoes.

Just tear open and add your favorite StarKist Chicken Creations flavor — I added the Lemon Pepper to this.

You won’t need any additional dressing!

It took 3 minutes to put this together and it was delicious!

So bring it on, winter. I’m going to always make sure I have a pouch of StarKist Chicken Creations and a fork in my bag to help me keep my healthier habits. Keeping Healthy Habits with StarKist Chicken Creations

I love the idea that they have different flavors so you cam mix it up and not get bored. I remember them from a few years ago and it’s good to see they are still available to buy.

That is such a great idea— esp with how kids eat these days. Mine could eat all the time.
