Cheesy Turkey and Pepper Hash Browns

11/06/2015 by The Mama Maven

Buddig

I’m not a big breakfast person– except on the weekends. I’m usually am omelette or pancakes gal, but I decided to mix things up and make cheesy turkey and pepper hash browns. And the turkey is gluten-free, which makes this entire dish gluten-free!

First, I prepped my ingredients. I used the 2 oz package of Buddig Turkey in this recipe. If you prefer, you can add Old Wisconsin®‘ sausage instead – it’s naturally hardwood-smoked in traditional old-fashioned smokehouses and seasoned with natural spices – every product has a unique and memorable flavor.

I cut up one russet potato.

Chopped up 1/4 yellow onion, 1/2 a green pepper, one small piece of colby jack cheese and the Buddig Turkey.

I sauteed the onions and the potatoes first, so they could cook a little more.

Then I added the cheese, turkey, and green pepper. I only added one small serving of Colby Jack – feel free to add more!

And it was delicious!
