What’s New at Legoland Discovery Center in Westchester

01/06/2016 by Maytal

by Senior Reviewer Maytal Wichman

There’s a reason here at The Mama Maven we love Legoland so much; it’s fun, affordable and perfect for any day – on rainy, cold or really hot days you can just stay inside the Legoland building. On beautiful days you can stroll around the Ridge Hill shopping center. Regardless of the kind of day it is, Legoland will keep your kids entertained for hours. I recently visited Legoland with my family and we all had a really great time! Scroll down for January activities in Legoland.

We had fun building our own car and racing it:

The City Builder attraction was really fun and my kids especially loved trying to find hidden figures in the buildings.

Miniland is always a family favorite. Here’s Yankee Stadium:

Times Square:

Statue of Liberty was dressed for the holidays:

Every few minutes it got dark and there were fireworks:

My youngest loved the little play area and the slide:

We had a blast!

Here are two videos that Nancy took of Legoland:

January is a busy month in Legoland. Here are some special events:

Is your child the biggest LEGO® fan you know? LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester is seeking twelve children aged 5 to 10 to be part of their 2016 Creative Crew! The search will launch Jan 6th and run thru Feb. 18th. The Creative Crew will assist the attraction’s Master Model Builder, with important tasks at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester. Each member of the Creative Crew will also win a Family 4 Pack of Annual Passes, to enjoy one year of endless LEGO fun! Entries can be submitted via Video or Written entry. Twelve children will be selected and will be announced on Monday, February 22, 2016 on LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester’s Facebook page.

Tot Tuesdays continues! Every Tuesday in January, even the tiniest of LEGO fans can join in on the fun at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester! The attraction will be filled with fun-filled activities designed specifically with toddlers in mind from 10am-2pm featuring kids age 3-5 tickets for only $15 and adults tickets for $16.50.

Free Friend Friday at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester will take place every remaining Friday in January. On Friend Fridays, Annual Pass Members who purchase admissions tickets in the attraction are invited to bring one friend, free of cost. For more information and registration to become an Annual Pass Member, please visit this link.

I was not compensated for this post. I received complimentary admission.
