My iPhone is important to me, so I always make sure I have a protective case. I’ve mentioned before how my iPhone 4S was destroyed 2 days after I got it in 2011. I had carried my youngest child, who was 1 at the time and put him into my mother’s car and dropped my new iPhone onto the street. My mother ran it over when she backed out of the spot — goodbye iPhone! Ever since then, my iPhones are always protected. I prefer an Otterbox or a LifeProof case since they are very strong. I like that the back is clear and I can actually see the back of my phone, plus the dual cameras are protected. The LifeProof case is lighter than other protective cases and offers amazing protection to the elements – it’s drop proof, dirt proof, snow proof, and water proof. While the iPhone 7 is waterproof, I still believe in protecting my phone. It helps me get good resale value because my iPhone looks brand new, even after 2 years, after I remove the case.
Setting up the LifeProof Nuud Case is super easy. Included is a NÜÜD case, a microfiber cloth, a water test unit, a case key, and a LifeProof sticker. I did the water test to make sure it was really waterproof. Just pop it onto your iPhone and snap it together.
However, the fact that my case is drop proof is what really makes me happy. I had jury duty last week and one of the court officers dropped my phone on the floor as he checked my things. My phone was fine, but it could have shattered on the marble floors if I didn’t have a good case on.
One thing I don’t like about LifeProof is that I had to wait from December to February to get my new case. I bought a case to last me the two months between that, but I was nervous that my new iPhone 7Plus would get destroyed in the meantime. But when the LifeProof cases are released, they really are great cases — just speed it up a little, LifeProof!
