Hyperlinked Web Series with Music Group L2M Premieres on YouTube Red (+ Special Offer)

Recently I took my daughter and a family friend to see a preview of the new YouTube Red scripted series called Hyperlinked, which stars the music group L2M. This show is like nothing I’ve seen before — it’s about a group of girls who start a website for girls by girls. Coding is cool and girl power rocks. This is a 10-episode series, which shows the girls running their website while also dealing with everyday tween issues involving friendship and relationships. Hyperlinked Web Series with Music Group L2M Premieres on YouTube Red (+ Special Offer)

Hyperlinked will also feature fun pop tunes and dance moves which L2M is known for. L2M is a girl band of BFFs named McKenzie, Marangeli, Tati, Jenna, and Lexi. They were signed by Warner Brothers Records in January 2016 and their debut single “Girlz” was also featured in the Lego Friends original movie.

I really liked the show, which was really promoting STEM for young girls. My daughter and I enjoyed the show and it was full of good messages for girls. 

Cool fact, Hyperlinked is actually based on a true story — there actually is a real Miss O and Friends website. Check out the founder of Miss O and Friends Juliette and a performance by L2M.

This was really cute – Juliette and Olivia’s parents on the show run a smoothie shop, so they recreated it at the YouTube Space. I was very excited to introduce my daughter to green smoothies. Yum! 

Hyperlinked is only the latest YouTube Red Original series for families; Others include Fruit Ninja, DanTDM Creates a Big Scene and Kings of Atlantis.
