We attended a event recently to promote Fireman Sam’s Ultimate Heroes Movie and new line of toys.
The event was held at the FDNY Museum, which is in lower Manhattan.
Our children got to get up close and personal with the new Fireman Sam toys.
We actually couldn’t get Skylar to stop playing with the toys — he just fell in love with all the toys from the line.
After playing with the Fireman Sam Toys, we got a sneak peek at the new Fireman Sam movie, which will be available on Amazon soon for download.
We enjoyed what we saw. If you’re not familiar with Fireman Sam, he first made his UK TV debut in 1987. Based in the Welsh village of Pontypandy, Fireman Sam is the hero of every rescue. Whether stuck on a high cliff-face or caught in an underground cave, the children of Pontypandy know help is always close at hand thanks to brave and resourceful Fireman Sam. After we had a great fire safety demonstration — the children practiced how to safely leave a smoky room (by crawling on the floor).
Afterwards, my kids checked out the antique fire engines.
As well as the firefighters’ heavy gear ( I couldn’t believe the how much the the air tanks weighted).
Thank you to HIT Entertainment for sponsoring this fun event.
