It started as a small thing really. I was at BlogHer and I saw Broadway Nails‘ Booth. I had wanted to get a manicure, but didn’t have time. So I saw the booth and wandered over. Maria Pilar Clark was standing there with adorable nails on. And suddenly I wanted my nails to look like that. I couldn’t believe it when she told me it was a press on manicure. These were the imPRESS Instant Manicure press on nails. I figured they’d stay on for a day and I’d have fun. I felt sexy and confident with the imPRESS Nails on. I felt pretty. Such a small thing, but I felt … good about myself. I got tons of compliments. Now, I did have to be careful, but I still went typed well, did the dishes, changed diapers, showered. Every time I’d bump a nail, I was afraid it would come off (but they didn’t budge). I wore them home from BlogHer and ended up putting on a fresh pair a week later. And I felt just as good. So the next time you see me, I may just have these (or another cute style) on. And I’ll feel great about it.
