What could be better than a fun, fall-foliage photo of your family? We spoke to Joel “Whammy” Kaufman, the owner of Whammy’s World of WOW, about some tips for getting great shots of your family. Now is the time to start thinking about what photos you are going to use for your holiday cards – so whether you are taking the picture yourself or hiring a pro (like Joel!), keep in mind his tips:
1. When you are taking pictures of kids, never expect anyone to look on the same direction
2. Offer them chocolate (or bribes)
3. Give them a setting to play in
4. Offer them bribes
5. Invite another family and you can split the cost of an already affordable photo session.
Usually the person who holds the camera misses out in getting into the picture, so hiring a pro can ensure that these family photos will be great for your holiday card. .
