Be A Great Guest! Bring Dessert from Dancing Deer Baking Co. This Holiday Season

12/16/2016 by The Mama Maven

The holidays will be here before we know it and things are even busier now. I’m frantically trying to get projects done so I can enjoy my holiday and winter break. There are still holiday parties to attend and family celebrations (we’ll be celebrating Hanukkah at my Mother-in-law’s this year) and I’ll need to make sure I’m there, with delicious dessert in hand. So, this year I’m delighted to be ready with goodies from Dancing Deer Baking Co..

While you can definitely take any of Dancing Deer Baking Co.’s cookies or brownies and make something semi-homemade (see my last post for my great idea), I have an easier idea this time. Order their scrumptious cookies or brownies, buy a nice plate, and boom — that’s your host(ess) gift! You look like the hero when party guests dive for the triple chocolate chunk brownies or pop the tasty dessert bites into their mouths.

Check out the video I made (where I explain it all):

Dancing Deer Co.’s sent me some of their Dessert Bites (which truly smell amazing).

I put them on a pretty plate and added a placemat underneath.

And I’m ready to go to my mother-in-laws for Hannukah dinner! If you don’t want to use your own plate or you want to makie it a really great gift, pick up a pretty plate from a big box or specialty store and plate it yourself.

Here are some ideas for what to take to your holiday parties and special occasions:

We love their Hannukah Stars Set ($29.99).

Filled with a  classic assortment of Dancing Deer Baking Co.’s brownies and drizzled star cookies, this Shaker-style box contains 4 Chocolate Chunk brownies and 8 Hanukkah Star cookies. Remember everything baked by Dancing Deer is certified Kosher (kosher dairy), so it will really pair well with a meal of latkes and sour cream.

The Classic Three-Tier Holiday Cookie Tower ($52.49, on sale) is a pleaser.

This holiday gift set is filled with a variety of 6 dozen crisp and buttery shortbread cookies, including Gingerbread Folk, Peppermint Trees, Espresso Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Sea Salt Stars and Vanilla Bean flavors, along with 2 bags of festive holiday cookies. The cookies are packaged in three wooden Shaker-style boxes tied with grosgrain ribbon. Order it and bring it right in the box with the ribbon. Your hostess will be in awe.

And if you really want to feed a crowd, their Premium Holiday Crowd Pleaser Gift Basket ($99) will really make your host happy ($99). You’ll definitely be invited back next year.

This abundant collection of gourmet baked goods includes 8 each of our chewy and soft Molasses Clove, Snickerdoodle, Triple Chocolate Chip and Cranberry Orange cookies, 4 each of Chocolate Chunk, Caramel Pecan, Peanut Butter and Cappuccino brownies, a Chocolate Espresso cake (serves 4-6), along with 20 Gingerbread Folk cookies and a bag of Chocolate Sea Salt Stars. Hand-packed into two rich burgundy seagrass baskets with toggle tie.

So, what do you think looks good from Dancing Deer Baking Co.?
