Back to School: Hydrating with Thermos Funtainers and Lunchboxes

We’re huge fans of Thermos’ Funtainer Line, which holds 12 oz of liquid. Made of stainless steel, with a straw, plastic base and top, my kids love it! With school starting this week in NYC, my older son and daughter will be taking their Funtainers to school every day. My daughter will be using the Hello Kitty Funtainer, my oldest son will be using the Spiderman Funtainer, and my toddler son will be using the Blue Funtainer.

Features:

  • Offers double wall vacuum insulation to keep your child’s water cold
  • Push button lid with pop-up silicone straw (which is easy to open)
  • It will survive your kids with an unbreakable stainless steel interior and exterior
  • Dishwasher safe
  • The exterior will stay condensation free
  • Non-slip, scratch resistant base

While you can stick in in the dishwasher, I’d recommend washing it by hand. I think it’s better for the stainless steel interior and to keep the outside design on it.

Does it leak? No. But make sure you have all the parts in correctly. Don’t put the older straw into it like I did (then it will leak). And always do the upside down test (once you put your liquids in it), just to make sure.

Thermos also came out with some awesome lunchboxes this year. We sampled the Ninja Lunchbox (great for preschoolers) and I ended up purchasing two more lunchboxes for my two older kids. How cute is this JoJo Siwa Lunchbox? And this Mandalorian Lunchbox? Adorbs! They were also lighter than a metal lunchbox (but won’t hurt anyone if it’s swung at them – of course my little angels would never do that).

Shop Thermos’ products here on Amazon.

Thank you to Thermos for sending two Funtainers and the Ninja Lunchbox for review purposes. I purchased the additional Funtainer and two Funtainer Lunchboxes with my own funds.
