Sweet Dreams and a Quiet Bedtime Routine with Lullabuddy

04/11/2019 by Maytal

My kids are no longer babies; my younger two are in elementary school and have pretty busy lives with after-school activities, play dates and homework. After dinner we try to unwind so that they can get to bed and get a good night’s rest. It can be challenging to get my boys to calm down and relax and baths don’t always help. What does? Relaxing music! Lullabuddy is a multi-award-winning, bluetooth-enabled portable speaker that’s loaded with 2 hours’ worth of lullabies – just the thing young kids need when they’re in bed. Sweet Dreams and a Quiet Bedtime Routine with Lullabuddy

Lullabuddy is so small, yet the sound that comes out of it is incredibly clear. You simply turn it on and adjust the volume. There’s also a shuffle button and a one-hour timer. Lullabuddy doesn’t need batteries or electricity – you simply use the mini USB cable to charge it to a USB port and once it’s fully charged it will last up to 18 hours. I usually just use my cell phone charger and it charges pretty quickly (red light means it needs charging; blue light means it’s good to go). You can place the Lullabuddy anywhere. It’s perfect to take on vacation – you can just put in your hotel room and even in the car.

I received a sample for review and tried it with my boys – they both agreed that the songs are very soothing and help them fall asleep faster. My daughter, who’s twelve, loved the Lullabuddy so much, she’s now taking turns using it in her room. The cool thing about Lullabuddy is that you can also hook it up to your device and use it with your own playlist. The songs, by recording artist Mae Robertson, are exquisite. Some favorites: Moon River, What a Wonderful World and All the Pretty Horses.

Visit Lullabuddy.com to learn more. You can see a list of all the songs and listen to some samples. You can purchase the Lullabuddy on Amazon. Price is $60. Sweet Dreams and a Quiet Bedtime Routine with Lullabuddy (+Giveaway)

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star is what I used to sing to my children a lot, so that is one of my favorites.

when I was little my grandmothers would sing me Fais do do à ma p’tit’ fille which is a French Canadian lullabye, I still remember it (and them!) fondly.

I grew up listening to French Canadian lullabyes, and my children grew up listening to Spanish ones such as Arrorró mi niño due to the different cultures in my family.
