My daughter, at nine, is growing up too fast and is mostly on her own when it comes to choosing clothes. But I still have two sweet boys that I can dress up and I plan on getting them the most adorable clothes out there until the day comes when they say ‘no more, Mom’. So I’m always on the lookout for unique and elegant clothes that are comfortable and durable that I can dress them in for weekend outings, holidays and special events. I recently came across a company called Carriage Boutique and fell in love with their retro classic style and sweet designs. I also loved the prices, which are very reasonable.
From smocked dresses to rompers to Christening clothes and holiday wear, the Carriage Boutique has been producing hand-made unique clothes for kids ages 0-7 since 1962. I received for review the Spring Knit Vest Set in Navy Orange Checkered Crabs.
Right away I could feel the quality in the material and the softness. The set includes a short-sleeved button-down shirt, adjustable waist navy pants and a cream-colored vest, all machine-washable. The material is light so it’s perfect for spring and summer. The pants are dressy enough to wear on a special occasion but my three-year-old found them comfortable to run around in.
