It’s hard to believe but September is coming to an end. Soon we’ll be seeing our kids in costumes going trick-or-treating in the neighborhood and then the holidays will be upon us, with formal sit-down dinners, cocktail parties and holiday gatherings. I like to prepare ahead as much as I can, rather than rush to the stores to buy last-minute holiday dresses and hope my seamstress can hem them in time. Here are some of my favorite holiday dresses which I found on DressFirst and are flattering on any body type.
These festive cocktail dresses are perfect for holiday parties. The A-line silhouette is flattering and the short length and bright colors are fun and not too formal:
An LBD ( little black dress) is always perfect for any formal occasion. These dresses are classic and timeless and you’ll find yourself going back to them again and again when you want something that always looks great on you.
One of the best parts about the holidays is glitzy parties where you get to dress up, get your hair done and and feel a little like Cinderella for a night. You can certainly make a statement with these stunning formal gowns.
