We recently attended Target’s NYC Blogger Halloween Party and had a blast. I hung out with my good friend Soleil Moon Frye (okay, she’s not my friend, but I did meet her at another Target event and she was lovely both inside and out). Soleil hosted and we loved seeing all the great stuff you could get (and make) from Target to make your Halloween Celebration a success – whether it was a child’s party or an adult party.
We saw some great ideas for Halloween — like cool kits to make Eyeball cake pops.
And fun kits to make monster cupcakes.
Cool Recipe: Monster Trail Mix Bars (these were insanely scrumptious)
Courtesy of Target
12 (5 x 2 1/2 -inch) graham crackers
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 cups mini marshmallows
1 bag (14 oz) Archer Farms Monster Trail Mix (about 3 cups)
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 15x10x1 inch jelly roll pan with aluminum foil leaving a 1-inch overhang on ends; spray foil with cooking spray. Place graham crackers onto foil with sides touching.
2. Melt butter and brown sugar in a medium saucepan on medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and mixture comes to a boil, about 5 minutes. Pour evenly over the graham crackers.
3. Bake 5 to 6 minutes or until bubbly overall.
4. Remove pan from oven, sprinkle with marshmallows and trail mix. Continue baking until marshmallows begin to soften (about 2 to 3 minutes). Cool completely. Lift from pan using foil. Cut into bars.
These bars are not healthy. Since I usually only post only healthy items, this is an exception.

Thank you to Target for inviting me for a fun event. I received a gift bag for attending.
