Review: StriVectin SD Intensive Concentrate – 30 Years of Research in a Bottle

03/15/2013 by Maytal

by Senior Reviewer Maytal Wichman

I consider myself lucky that I did not get that god-awful wrinkle between the eyebrows until the age of 38. Now that I have it, I want to get rid of it. ASAP. StriVectin SD’s new cream, Intensive Concentrate, is touted as the new cream that will improve fine lines, wrinkles and stretch marks, as well as improving radiance and resulting in younger-looking skin. I was curious – could it be true? Read to find out. (Read more after the jump)

I recently received the StriVectin SD Intensive Concentrate for review and used it twice daily for two weeks to see if I can notice a difference like they promise. Who is “they”? StriVectin’s chief scientists and product developers who have developed the product. They took the original StriVectin formula and powered it up with more collagen-producing peptides plus additional powerful actives. But that’s not all. They also re-engineered the formula with technology rooted in 30 years of skin cancer research. The result is acceleration and rebuilding of skin layers and improving overall skin health.

After 12 weeks of clinical trials, here’s what happened (for people who used the cream twice a day for 8 weeks):

Week 2: Skin looks smoother and more resilient

Week 4: Skin tone looks more even, age spots fading

Week 8: Skin looks younger; wrinkles and stretch marks are visibly diminishing

So how did I fare after two weeks of using it? My skin definitely looks smoother and soft to touch. Also, I loved that the cream wasn’t the least bit oily. It absorbed into the skin immediately (I used it only on my face). The cream has a pleasant and very subtle smell which makes it easy to stick to in the long run and I certainly plan to stick with it – I can’t wait to see what it does to my frown lines!

You can purchase the StriVectin SD Intensive Concentrate here for $139. It’s also available at Costco stores and online.

I was not compensated for this post. I received a sample.
