If your little one is a Netflix fan, you’ll be psyched to know that Netflix is releasing a lot of new preschool titles this year such as Beat Bugs, Kazoops, Ask The Storybots and Julie’s Greenroom.
We’re in love with Beat Bugs, which started streaming on August 3. This cute show introduces the Beatles classics to kids – one song sets the theme of each episode. Pink, Aloe Blacc, Robbie Williams, Frances and The Lumineers are some of the musical acts that help introduce the beloved catalogue of Beatles classics to a new generation for the first season of the show. Covers by Rod Stewart, Jennifer Hudson and Tori Kelly will be featured in Season 2, coming this November.
Netflix recently sent us a package of Beat Bugs goodies. Check out our unboxing.
We also did a musical performance of “All You Need Is Love” by the Beatles, in honor of #BeatBugs. Check it out here!
Keep the sing-along going with a new Motown animated series coming soon to Netflix! From the creators of Beat Bugs, the yet to be titled show will have a contemporary take on Motown classics. With Smokey Robinson advising as Executive Music Producer, the show will bring 52 Motown songs to life, including those made famous by Robinson, Marvin Gaye, The Jackson 5, Lionel Richie, The Supremes, The Temptations and Stevie Wonder.
We know you’ve been waiting for it, but mark your calendars for a trip back to Stars Hollow in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, coming to Netflix on November 25.
