Mother’s Day is over and you’ve probably treated your mother and mother-in-law to something special. But what about treating yourself? I recently attended a fun blogger event sponsored by Caravan, a stylist studio that works with celebrities to help them with their entire look. I got a chance to sample some really cool and affordable products (some are actually used by the celebrities that Caravan works with) that are perfect for moms. Here are some of my favorites:
Bullet is a pocket-sized, quick-acting acne remedy. Just put it on once and it will kill 99.9% of acne bacteria. It contains only natural ingredients without anything that could potentially be harmful to your body.Going on vacation and don’t want to schlep magazines with you? Next Issue is a monthly subscription that gives you access to over 130 of the most popular magazines on your computer on any hand-held device. You also get bonus content that’s not available in print plus all of the back issues of any magazine. No more piles of magazines all over the house!
My 7-year-old had a blast getting a manicure by Zoya. She was very happy with her hot pink colors and I was happy to find out Zoya is toxin-free and safe for children and pregnant women. With over 300 colors to choose from, there’s a color for every mood!I got an awesome blowout by a stylist working with Big Sexy Hair. I opted for a blowout that has some body so the stylist used Powder Play, which is a volumizing and texturizing powder. It’s a little like dry shampoo but becomes wet when you apply it to your hair so there’s absolutely no residue left. It picks up any extra oil on your scalp and gives your hair lots of body. I also like the Soy-Tri-Wheat Leave-In Conditioner. It smooths away frizz and can be used on the whole family! From casual tanks to sizzling black maxis, Bobi has gorgeous items with a focus on style and comfort. And the best part? They flatter every body type!
I was not compensated for this post. I received a gift bag and a blow-out.
