Enjoy StarKist Tuna Creations BOLD Anywhere When You’re On-the-Go

10/11/2017 by The Mama Maven

Whether I like it or not, my life is a busy, active one. Trying to manage 3 kids, my oldest child’s Type 1 Diabetes, work, a busy blog, my marriage, and family means that I am always on-the-go. Sometimes I’m too busy to stop for lunch or a snack if I’m hungry. Meaning, I need to make sure I have healthy foods, especially ones that are packed with protein with me so I don’t make poor choices. I feel so much better when I make healthy choices, so I try to always have a packet of StarKist TunaCreations BOLD, a fork, napkin, and a bottle of water with me. StarKist Tuna Creations BOLD offer delicious & nutritious meal solutions to fit my busy lifestyle and add an extra kick of flavor —each is a good source of lean protein and 110 calories or less to keep me fueled. Enjoy StarKist Tuna Creations BOLD Anywhere When You’re On-the-Go

Pouches are single-serve and require no can opener and no draining, making it easy for me to add a BOLD protein to my favorite salads, meals, and snacks…or you can just grab a fork and eat straight from the pouch wherever you are—just Tear. Eat. And Go! My current fave is the Tuna Creations BOLD with Tapatio®. Ever tried Tapito? Fire up your taste buds and get ready for a BOLD hit of flavor. StarKist has partnered with Tapatio and added their hot sauce and a touch of lime juice to their classic chunk light tuna. It tastes incredible, but know that there is some heat (so my ever present bottle of water comes in handy).

With 14 grams of protein and 70 calories per single-serve pouch, I can enjoy it on-the-g0 (or plan ahead and put it in a low carb pita bread). It’s always delicious and you don’t need to drain it.

For Low Carb or Type 1 Diabetics: There are 0 carbs in this! It’s great for a snack or as part of a meal. I can put this in my son’s backpack for him to have at any time for a no carb snack (and boy, does he love Tuna Creations just like his mama).

Product Features:

  • 70 calories per pouch
  • 14g of protein
  • Natural Omega-3s++
  • Gluten Free
  • Soy Free
  • Wild Caught
  • Dolphin Safe

StarKist Tuna Creations BOLD Tapatio contains 110mg of EPA and DHA omega-3s per pouch combined.

StarKist Tuna Creations BOLD is available in 6 BOLD varieties, including StarKist Tuna Creations BOLD Thai Chili Style, Tuna Creations BOLD Jalapeño, Tuna Creations BOLD Hot Buffalo Style, Tuna Creations BOLD Tapatío, Tuna Creations BOLD Sriracha and Tuna Creations BOLD with Rice & Beans in Hot Sauce.

I also tried the Tuna Creations BOLD Sriracha and heartily enjoyed it. This hot sauce flavor is made from red chili peppers, garlic, and vinegar. With a garlicky spicy kick, this tuna is the perfect addition to a ramen noodle salad or tuna burger. You can enjoy on rice cakes, crackers or right from the pouch.
