Cold-Season Must Have: Vicks Mini FilterFree CoolMist Humidifier

500When you live in a small apartment that’s always overheated there’s that constant dryness in the air that is responsible for dry skin and parched lips, not to mention  making it difficult to breathe comfortably at night. We used to have a large, bulky humidifier in the kids’ room but it was just too noisy and a pain to fill up with water. I recently received the VicksMini FilterFree CoolMist Humidifier and it’s been making our life that much easier!

My kids share a very small bedroom so size-wise, the Vicks Mini FilterFree CoolMist Humidifier is perfect. What makes it even better is that it’s really easy to use. There are no filters to replace or bulky parts to assemble. You just fill the top part with water and that’s all there is to it. Super-easy and quick. It’s also very quiet – you can see the mist coming out, but there’s no noise. This machine is so hassle-free, you don’t even have to worry about shutting it off, it shuts off automatically when the water runs out (it runs up to 20 hours per filling) and even adjusts the level by itself when there’s enough humidity in the room. So really your only job is to fill it up with water and clean it once in a while.

We have been using the humidifier in the kids’ room for a few days now and they have been sleeping so much better. No more heavy, congested breathing and stuffy noses. You can use it as it is, or add a soothing scent with Vicks VapoPads that fit in a special slot. It’s compatible with the Vicks Sleep Time VapoPads and the Vicks Menthol VapoPads (a sample pad of the latter is included). As an added bonus it comes in a sleek, modern design that looks elegant in any bedroom.

You can buy the Vick’s Mini FilterFree CoolMist Humidifier here for $49.99.

I was not compensated for this post. I received a sample.
