Take the Saved Call Challenge with Link2Cell Phones from Panasonic (Giveaway Closed)

03/19/2014 by The Mama Maven

panasonic2

How many times has this happened to you? You’re at home and your cell phone starts ringing… and you can’t find it. You tear your house apart and end up missing your call. But what if your landline could help by letting you pick your cell’s calls on right on your handset? And you could have extra handsets in other places in your home, by just plugging the base in right into a regular outlet.Pansonic’s Link2Cell technology harnesses the power of Bluetooth® to combine a cell phone with the convenience of a home phone.

I recently received a sample Panasonic Link2Cell cordless phone system with three handsets to test out. It operates together with my iPhone, allowing me to make and receive cell phone calls though the multi-handset home phone system with Panasonic’s unique Bluetooth-powered Panasonic Link-to-Cell. And I love it. No more missed calls and I can hear much better on it than on my iPhone’s handset (seriously).

This means, if someone calls me on my cell (and I have my bluetooth on), it will ring on the Panasonic handset. I can also make outgoing cell calls (and it lets me use my cell phone address book). It’s a total win/win. I can hear so much better than on my cell!

The version I tested came with one base handset and two additional handsets. You only need to plug the base in and then the extra handsets can be plugged into regular power outlets. Which is great because you don’t have to make sure there are telephone jacks all over. I put one in our den and one in our bedroom.

I can vouch that the handsets are great for conference calls (just hit the speaker button) to chat.. I’m also impressed with the battery life. It came with batteries (yeah!) and I can keep my phones out of the charger for hours and hours and the batteries do not run down.

Features of Panasonic’s Link2Cell KX-TG7873S

·        Make and receive cell phone calls through the Panasonic Link2Cell handset- with or without a landline. Place your cellphone in the area of your home where you get the best reception then sync it up via Bluetooth with the Link2Cell handset and talk for hours without dropping your call.

·       Link up to 2 Cell phones

·        Base unit features a convenient USB charging port to charge your smartphone while talking on the Link2Cell handset.

·        Text Message (SMS) Alert notifies a user of received text message on your cell phone through an alert on your cordless handset.

·        The Talking Caller ID feature uses text-to-speech technology, announcing the caller’s information in between rings – so you can hear who is calling from across the room without getting up.

Visualize how your room will look once you set up your system to get an idea of what you will need
to buy. The installation of wireless is far easier
and there is no need to deal with the extra tangle of wires snaking from the back or
side of your set. 1 channel surround sound system but you may want to check in order to be certain you can upgrade if you
    chose to buy a 5.

In our bathroom, the wireless router is in the living room so by the time you get all the way back to our room and then our bathroom you are lucky if you get a strong signal.
