Popcorn is one of America’s most popular snacks but what many people don’t know is its high antioxidant level; it’s even higher than many fruits and vegetables. Another food high in antioxidants is chocolate so mixing the two can prove to be not just a delicious experience but also a healthful one. Unfortunately, most companies use so many additives, preservatives and corn syrup in their products that they no longer become appetizing or healthy. I recently came across a company called Popcorn, Indiana that makes all-natural popcorn that taste like…pure heaven! (Read more after the jump)
Here is what I sampled:
Kettlecorn flavor – This popcorn reminded me of kettlecorn I once bought at the State Fair. It tasted so fresh! It only has 4 ingredients: popcorn, sugar, salt and canola oil so if there’s a word that means the opposite of processed – this is it! Perfect for your sweet/salty craving.
Cinnamon Sugar Kettlecorn flavor – This has the same ingredients as the regular kettlecorn, except with cinnamon (which has numerous health benefits). The cinnamon adds richness to the flavor and has a delicious aroma.
Movie Theater Popcorn – Before you eat it, heat it! Make a small tear to vent and heat in the microwave for 1 minute. The result will be way better than movie theater popcorn! Instead of that gooey liquid butter syrup they have at the theaters, this bag contains clarified butter which marries with the popcorn beautifully.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Kettlecorn – I love mixing peanut butter with chocolate. In fact, sometimes I eat a teaspoon of peanut butter with a few chocolate chips sprinkled on top when I want something sweet. The peanut butter and chocolate work well together – the chocolate is a light drizzle, but just the right amount.
Dark Fudge Chocolate Chip Drizzlecorn – this is the real deal. Melted chocolate and chocolate chips! Very chocolaty and very popcorny. Perfect as a dessert with some strawberries on the side.
All of the popcorn flavors that I sampled had one thing in common (other than being out-of-this-world delicious) – they all stay fresh and crunchy if you keep them in a ziplock bag for the next day. All of the products are kosher and glutern-free. There are other really cool flavors, such as Dark Fudge Peppermint Drizzlecorn, Aged White Cheddar Popcorn, Almond Biscotti Caramel Popcorn, Drizzled Black & White Popcorn and many more.
You can purchase products from Popcorn, Indiana at major stores such as Walmart, Shoprite, Stop & Shop and also online here.
I was not compensated for this post. I received samples. There are affiliate links in this post.

The black and white chocolate drizzled popcorn is way too saltly. They should consider fixing that. Haven’t tried the other flavers yet.
