Review: HSI Professional Dryonizer 2200 Ceramic Blow Dryer

12/20/2016 by The Mama Maven

My blow dryer broke around 2 months ago (first world problems, right?) and I’ve been researching the hair dryer to replace mine. I was so excited when HSI Professional agreed to send me their Dryonizer 2200 Ceramic Blow Dryer (on sale for $99). HSI Professional delivers salon quality styling tools and hair care products including our top selling Flat Irons, Curling Irons, Hair Dryers and Argan Oil. HSI Professional is proven to best bridge product quality with value and affordability. HSI Professional’s Dryonizer 2200 ceramic hair dryer features a 1600 watt ionic ceramic motor  (with HSI Professional’s HeatBalance® motor, which produces consistent heat and air pressure, locking in moisture as it breaks down water molecules 40% quicker). But is it for you?

Review: HSI Professional Dryonizer 2200 Ceramic Blow Dryer | The Mama Maven Blog

With dual motor speeds, three heat settings, and two airflow nozzles, the hairdryer gives the flexibility needed for quick drying to more intense styling. Even with a powerful engine, the Dryonizer is still lightweight, easy to handle and super quiet.

I am most excited that you said you could’ve dried your hair in under 10 minutes which I suppose is thanks to the 1600w motor! OMG that would be awesome! My dryer sucks and takes just slightly less time than letting my hair air dry.. maybe a slight exaggeration.. still, I need a new one lol.

Love that it is 1600 watt. Anything under that doesn’t dry my hair right. The more watt the better.

I like that the Dryonizer 2200 has 3 different heat settings. My old one has only 2 and often hot is too hot, but the other is cold.

I love that it has the cool shot cold air burst! My hair dryer is so old, only one setting works and it smells like burnt hair.

I enjoyed watching this. It looks like a great hairdryer! My daughter has long, curly hair that she often wants to straighten. This looks like just the dryer for that. I like that it has the “cool shot” button and doesn’t burn your hair or scalp.
Great job explaining it, Nancy, especially with the real-time timing of the drying!
