Most Teens and tweens are smelly. It’s just a fact because puberty hits. And when you think about a first deodorant you want something that is going to be safe for your precious babies. So when Not My Mama’s contacted us, I was pretty curious. Could something that smelled good, actually protect my kids against body odor and wetness? Out of the four deodorants we were sent, three were very feminine scents (“Pool Party” was fruity, “Hang Out” was lavender, “Day Dream” was floral) but there’s a unisex lemon scent called “Movie Night” that my 14 year old son claimed as his. Now, your kids can choose to use any of the scents that they want (but I’d choose the lemon because it was my favorite also).
But Does It Work?
The answer is yes.
Both my daughter and my older son have been using it for over four weeks now and are happy. They liked the scents and the texture. Plus, they smell much better. I seriously have not smelled my son’s body odor (which is a toxic one since he started using Not My Mama’s Deodorant – and this is coming from someone who would make him put it on at bedtime if he smelled really bad and it was too late to shower. It really works and this does exactly what it says it does. The packaging is cute and the price is reasonable. This mama is very happy!
