Knocked Up Nails: Safe Nail Polish During Pregnancy

One of the best things about being pregnant is having strong nails that grow quickly. Unfortunately, nail polish contains chemicals that aren’t safe for the baby. Knocked Up Nails is a company that makes nail polish that you can wear during pregnancy because it’s free of harmful ingredients. (Read more after the jump)

I recently received a few samples of nail polish from Knocked Up Nails. I sampled Preggers in Pink, O-Blue-GYN, Red-E or Not, Here Comes Baby! And Mint Chip at Midnight. Those four are considered the best sellers. There are 20 colors, plus a clear nail polish that serves as base and coat. The polish itself was thick so I didn’t have to use many coats. The only caveat: the smell was unpleasant, but luckily I put the nail polish on right before bedtime, so when I woke up in the morning the smell was gone and I was left with beautiful nails.
