This past week, my family got to enjoy a private screening of Iron Man 3, hosted by Schwan’s. You may recognize some of their brands like: Red Baron®, Tony’s® and Freschetta® pizza, and decadent desserts like Mrs. Smith’s® and Edwards®.
Consumers can now snag a free ticket (up to two per household) to “Iron Man 3” or any other movie in the theatre with the purchase of any four specially marked packages of Red Baron®, Freschetta®, Tony’s®, or Pagoda Express® products, while supplies last. All they have to do is collect special codes and redeem them online. “Iron Man 3” is now playing in theaters nationwide. (Read More after the jump).
“We’re excited to be teaming with Marvel and ‘Iron Man 3,’” said Bob Waldron, Schwan’s Consumer Brands president. “This partnership adds another element of ‘fun’ to our brands while providing additional value to our consumers through a movie ticket offer. With our release of 21 million ‘Iron Man 3’ custom-packaged products to grocers nationwide, consumers are sure to be swept up in the excitement the blockbuster franchise is generating.”
My family really enjoyed Iron Man 3, we always enjoy comic book adaptations – but we were surprised with all the twists and turns. It had a great plot in addition to all the action. We recommend this for a seven year olds and up who can handle a lot of action. Our seven year old was a little scared (and he’s never scared by any movie), but he’s such a huge fan that we decided to let him see it. However, we didn’t let our younger kids see it.
My seven year old son, husband and father-in -aw went nuts over Freschetta® Chicken Club Pizza. One thing about Ben is that he rarely eats meat and he loved this pizza. My husband also liked Red Baron®‘s Hawaiian Style Pizza. For the desserts, my husband said Edwards Salted Caramel pie was a winner – tasted like a roasted marshmallow. My son and father-in-law loved Edwards Chocolate Creme Pie with Hershey’s Chocolate. Of course all the others were delicious too.
Thank you to Schwans’s Consumer Brands for treating us to this dinner and this private screening. As always, all opinions are our own.
