My oldest child is almost 9, but when we bought his crib, we were so sold on the fact that it would “convert” to a bed. But..that never happened. That $400 crib and the one we had for my daughter (now 6 1/2) both fell apart before we could. What a waste!
When we had our third child #3, we decided to go with a super sturdy crib (non-dropside) that doesn’t convert to a bed.
