When it comes to house-cleaning products, I think of them only as functional. It has never occurred to me that they can also be pretty to look at. Clean Couture has products that contain ingredients such as essential oils and plant-derived, biodegradable products. And these products just happen to look gorgeous, bursting with a rainbow of cheerful colors and modern, bold patterns. (Read more after the jump)
Clean Couture carries a line of home and body care products that includes bubble bath, hand wash, body wash, dish liquid and an all-around cleaner. All of them are made with at least 98% naturally-derived chemicals and none are tested on animals. The products come in a variety of scents: Modern Clean Linen, Vanilla Pomelo, Lemon Basil Verbena, Sweet Eucalyptus and Sweet Cream. I got the chance to review the Hand Wash in Lemon Basil Verbena. The scent was amazing and stayed on my hands for a while. As a soap it’s very effective; I had very oily hands after washing a pan and it got rid of the oil within seconds.
I also tried the Essential Cleaner in Modern Clean Linen for the sink and toilet. The scent was perfect for a bathroom – very fresh. The Essential Cleaner was just as effective as any other cleaner, but without the harsh chemicals.
With such colorful patterns I no longer feel a need to hide my cleaning products. They blend in with the rest of my household items and are beautiful to look at. Best of all, they are good for the environment!
You can purchase all of the Clean Couture items online or use the store locator here.
