Bake It Happen 2016 for Breast Cancer Research

One of the causes we’re happy to support is Bake It Happen. Created by Shari Brooks of My Judy the Foodie and her sister, Stacy, Bake It Happen is a really easy way to raise money for breast cancer research. Bake it Happen has teamed up with the Pink Pumpkin Patch Foundation, and they are both dedicated to making certain that all of the funds from the pink pumpkin sales and the Bake it Happen campaign go directly to reputable organizations with the highest percentage of dollars spent on actual research. Shari’s blog My Judy the Foodie honors her late mother (Judy) who tragically lost her fight against breast cancer. Too many women, including Judy, and my great aunt Ella had their life cut way too short from breast cancer.

How Can You Help?

Go to www.bakeithappen.net and sign up to get 3 of Judy’s recipes.

Then bake one of the recipes. You can make either Pumpkin Chip Muffins, Judy’s Black Bottom Cupcakes, 0r Banana Chocolate Chip Loaf.
