Going into fall with Stride Rite Leepz Sneakers

09/05/2016 by The Mama Maven

We said goodbye to our lazy summer days during this past Labor Day weekend. While summer still has a few weeks left, with school starting here in NYC, that means we go back to school, routines, homework, and after school activities. It doesn’t mean the end of all fun, of course, but it means we start balancing it as we go into fall. We love going to our parks and playgrounds in NYC and in order to stay active, my children need good, supportive sneakers. We recently received a pair of Stride Rite Leepz to test out and they fit our needs to a tee — plus they are really bouncy AND light up!

Leepz flash-powered sneakers have high-rebound footbeds for bigger jumps and faster runs. And when you’re running around as a kid, you want to keep jumping higher.

Or when you’re acting like a dinosaur (which happens often).

Here in NYC we can keep going to our parks until it snows. We dress in layers and let our kids get their steam out at the playground. Their elementary school is great about recess, but I want to make sure they stay active. I do miss having a backyard, but we do spend time upstate at my in-laws and at my parents’ house when we can.

My daughter loves the lights and the hot pink color of her Leepz — it even matched her scooter.

My gal loves scootering, but our goal this year is to get her riding a bike, like her big brother does. We want to have my youngest start scootering and then biking.

I love the features of the Leepz from Stride Rite. They have mesh anti-stink linings, a lightweight midsole for flexibility, easy-on, easy-off closures, and then light up with every step. They’ll be wearing them this year, leaping into fall.

I was not compensated for this post, but I received two pairs of Leepz Sneakers. As always, all opinions are my own.
