Everybody’s got soccer fever and my five-year-old son has been jumping on the World Cup bandwagon like everyone else. He’s really into soccer now and loves kicking his soccer ball in the living room while watching game highlights with his father in the evenings. This is why I was so excited for him when I received the Playmobil Take Along Soccer Match game.
Here’s what we thought:
The Take Along Soccer Match from Playmobil ($67.99) is a travel-ready soccer game complete with a soccer field, a soccer ball, four soccer players and two goalies. It took us a little bit to put it together but it was well-worth it: my son was able to use the joystick and move the goalie easily. Both he and his sister has a blast playing together and laughed hysterically. Note: The game is recommended for age 5 and up and is not appropriate for children under 3 due to the small parts.
In addition to the Take Along Soccer Match you can also get, separately, a Soccer Shootout ($24.99).
If your kids are fans of certain countries (other than the U.S., of course) they can get specific players of that country, such as England or Brazil ($3.99 each).
Visit Playmobil, the world’s largest soccer ball producer – since 2006 they have manufactured more than 11.6 million soccer balls!
