TIME For Kids Presents: That’s Strange but True!

12/12/2012 by The Mama Maven

by Contributor Joyce Evans

As soon as you open TIME For Kids That’s Strange But True!: The World’s Most Astonishing Facts and Records, you can’t help but notice the vibrant pages filled with colors and pictures of each story. All 176 pages bring to life the unusual world of the animal kingdom, the human body, and so much more. The fun, bright pictures help to captivate any child’s attention when reading through the book. (Read More after the jump).

We can easily recommend this book — it’s educational, comprehensive and has so many unique stories to help capture any age groups’ attention. The index in the beginning of the book was great — the story titles (with pictures) and page numbers were helpful as a quick reference (especially helpful for the younger children who are looking through the book).

I especially loved the map and the stories highlighted around the world; it very cool to actually see where the stories were from.

Buy TIME For Kids That’s Strange But True!: The World’s Most Astonishing Facts and Records on Amazon.com  for $13.57 and it’s eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping on orders over $25.

Thank you to Time for Kids for sending a sample. As always, all opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links.
