My youngest child is nuts about nature – especially sea life. The Install and Set Up
Let’s Explore: Oceans Immersive Mega Pack was very easy to set up and use. Included is a Holographic Explorer Cube, a hard cover book, and VR/AR Goggles – which you use your smartphone with (plus a case).
The first thing you do is to download the Let’s Explore App in the App Store or Google Play Store.
Then install it and it will give you a code to put into the app to access the VR and AR experiences. Then you take the soft cube that is included and start! You can choose to use it in PHONE mode to see both the augmented reality and the 360 degree video. Just point your phone at the cube and everything literally comes to life. Now, if you want to be fully immersed, use the GOGGLES Mode to view both the VR and AR features within the app.
Because I have an iPhone 12 Max Pro, my phone wouldn’t fit in the googles. But my daughter has a smaller iPhone (the 7) and it fit beautifully. You will have to take off any pop-sockets or handles, it won’t fit otherwise.
My son was just amazed and loved finding out the many facts about sea. It was terrific with helping him to learn even more about a subject he is passionate about. He had a blast using the VR and AR.
My daughter even enjoyed Let’s Explore: Oceans.

Some of the features don’t work, even though my son’s phone is on their list of supported devices. After filing a complaint on Trustpilot, I have exchanged several emails back and forth with them, and nothing helps. (They were unresponsive until the review.) They filed a response on Trustpilot stating that I didn’t send them the information they requested. LIARS! My last email from them was on March 3, when they assured me that they have sent my problem to a special team and to be patient. Their customer service stinks.
Looks like such a cute gift for kids, sadly none of my kids are particularly interesting in the ocean or anything about it!
This would be amazingly perfect for my grandson. By 5 years old he knew every single common and scientific name for every shark and has been absolutely in love with and fascinated by them.
Such a great way for kids to learn and have fun at the same time! My oldest granddaughter would love this.
