City Harvest – NYC’s first and largest food rescue organization – is hosting a family-friendly fundraising event to help feed the 1-in-4 NYC children and their families who are experiencing food insecurity. The Virtual Winter Family Carnival 2022: Around The World, co-hosted by City Harvest’s Junior Food Council of teen celebrity chefs, offers parents and kids a dynamic stay-at-home event that is fun for the whole family.
The fun begins when your child receives their very own Party Box, delivered to your doorstep, filled with everything you need to get the party started for the whole family, including:
- One-of-a-kind craft kit with how-to videos and all materials provided by New York City favorite, The Craft Studio! Crafts include a “Let’s Dance” Beading Kit, Puffy Paint Bucket Hat Kit, White Chocolate Lollipop Kit, and more!
- Make your own kid-friendly, delectable hot chocolate kit from master mixologist and City Harvest Food Council Member Cody Goldstein of Muddling Memories.
- Mind-blowing dance and entertainment videos featuring On The Move’s talented DJs and performers who will keep the Around The World dance party going until bedtime!
Families have until February 18th to purchase their box. The virtual event will take place March 9th. One Party Box is $250. Families can purchase additional boxes so children who rely on City Harvest for food can also participate. Family Friendly Virtual Event to Help Fight Hunger in NYC
