Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate Blue Diamond Almonds – Perfect for Snacking On-The-Go

I am a snacker. And when I go on trips, it gets worse — I need to make sure I have a snack with me. One of my favorite things to snack on are Blue Diamond Almonds. On my recent trip to Austin, Texas, I had two packages of Blue Diamond Almonds with me– one with Sea Salt and one with Dark Chocolate.

For our trip to Austin, we got up super early and ate a little breakfast before we left, figuring we’d just get coffee at the airport. I figured since the flight was 4 hours, I’d snack on my almonds (on the plane) and then catch lunch once we landed in Austin.

However, I didn’t count on my flight being delayed a little, so I broke out the Blue Diamond Almonds with Sea Salt right in the terminal.

And these Blue Diamond Oven Roasted Almonds with Sea Salt totally hit the spot.

On the flight, my husband and I both snacked on the almonds. I did get a little upset that he was enjoying them a little too much (he barely left me any).

That day we explored Austin and ended up getting dinner at Iron Works BBQ (which was so delicious). See the rest of our day here- http://www.themamamaven.com/2015/05/09/the-austin-diaries-1/.

Later that night (in our hotel room) we enjoyed the Blue Diamond Dark Chocolate Almonds as a sweet treat after dinner. Such a tasty ending to a great day of traveling and visiting a new city.

I like that Blue Diamond Almonds offers 6 protein per serving for the almonds with Sea Salt and 5 grams of protein in the Dark Chocolate Almonds). Plus, it’s rich in antioxidant Vitamin E. Almonds are cholesterol free and there’s also 3 grams of fiber per serving.
