Even though we’re at the end of February, winter is still very much present. It’s either snowing, raining or simply too cold do be outdoors for too long. I like to keep my kids busy with fun indoor activities and Raddish can provide all that and much more!
Raddish is a monthly subscription service that is based on a different monthly theme and provides kid-friendly recipes, a shopping list, crafts and activity ideas, all based on that theme. I recently received for review the February Raddish box which was all about the Winter Olympics. The three recipes were for an omelet, a Greek Turkey Burger (a nod to the original Olympics) and “Olympic Torch” cupcakes (cupcakes in an ice cream cone). All of the recipes came with easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions, cooking tips and fun facts about the Olympics, how to put together a healthy breakfast, how to use measuring cups and more. Here’s a sample page from a recipe guide:
Aside from the recipes there was a master shopping list for all three dishes, a “make your own medal” craft that comes with everything you need, plus ideas for “kitchen Olympics” where the entire family can participate in games and keep score of the winners (who obviously get the aforementioned medals).
You can buy a one-month subscription for $24 or a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription for slightly less. Shipping is always free and you can cancel anytime. Click here to join. March is Kitchen Science: Cooking up chemistry!
Each Raddish box guarantees hours of fun, creativity and learning for the whole family! Best of all – a good chunk of your cooking for the day will be taken care of!I was not compensated for this post. I received a sample box.
