What Does Hickory Farms Mean to You? (+ Giveaway) CLOSED

12/01/2012 by The Mama Maven

LeAnn is the winner. She has been notified.

If you’re like me, even the mere mention of Hickory Farms brings up an image of enjoying scrumptious cheeses and crackers at holiday gatherings (aka, we called it “the good stuff”. I remember tasting their yummy treats when I was little, do you? And now I can share it with my children. (Read More after the jump).

For more than 60 years Hickory Farms gifts have been a classic holiday tradition that brings family and friends together.

We were sent a gift box to sample and boy was my husband and I happy! My picky kids were even happy. Since we didn’t have any family gatherings the immediate future – I decided to make it special for my family. I served the cheeses cut up, with some sausage and crackers as a fun appetizer (with cut up veggies also). We did this over several days and each time, kids felt like were being fancy. My favorites were the Turkey Summer Sausage, the Parmesan Herb Blend Cheese, and the Rosemary Olive Oil crackers. My husband really liked the Three Cheese and Onion spread (he even put it on his sandwiches). My kids liked everything (they are cheese lovers), their top favorite was the Cheddar and the Mission Jack.
