One of my New Year’s resolutions this year is to focus more on taking care of myself and de-frumping. This means, among other things, to refresh my look with new clothes and accessories. My two-year-old is still in diapers so a diaper bag is a must-have accessory, but that doesn’t mean it has to look like a diaper bag. TWELVElittle is a company dedicated to making diaper bags that are both functional and stylish for moms who want to look “put together”, which is what I’m also aiming for.
Founded by best friends who met in fashion school and are now moms, TWELVElittle was created to provide solutions for moms who want a bag that transitions from a diaper bag to a stylish accessory. I received the Allure Tote Bag for review and loved how cool is looked. It’s a combination of nylon with leather trim and looks very stylish. In fact, it doesn’t look like a diaper bag at all.
After a closer look I noticed a bunch of hidden zippers – on the sides, on the bottom, everywhere! In the big compartment there are other zippers and smaller pockets and plenty of room! The fabric is water-resistant and the bag can be worn either as a tote, or as a hands-free cross body with the attached long strap. It comes in three colors: black, plum and beige.
Another great thing about the bag is that once your baby no longer needs diapers you can use it as a weekend bag: just throw toiletries and makeup in the little pockets and pj’s and an outfit in the main compartment.
You can purchase the Allure tote Bag here and at Babies R Us, Nordstrom and Diapers.com. Price is $210.
