So, I’m currently at the PBS Annual Meeting in San Francisco and I had a chance to sit down (or stand) with Cookie Monster the other day and he had a message for my toddler, Skylar.

I grew up watching Cookie Monster and Sesame street, so meeting David Rudman (and Cookie Monster) was important, however the more important meaning is this — Skylar has a major speech delay. In the mornings, as we wait for the bus for his special ed preschool, we watch Cookie Monster’s movie shorts and music videos on YouTube. And I believe it’s helped him to talk more. He’s a huge PBS Kids fan and really connects to SuperWhy, Thomas & Friends, Dinosaur Train, and Sesame Street. So, thank you David Rudman, Cookie Monster and PBS Kids, for all that you do to help our children.
