Gulliver’s Gate is conveniently located in Times Square and features several large rooms which showcase most of the continents, major countries and famous landmarks in those countries. I recently visited Gulliver’s Gate with my kids and we all loved the vibrant colors, attention to detail and incredible accuracy of the models.

We began by each receiving a key that is used for interactive miniatures – simply insert into the keyhole and watch as cool things happen (such as the Berlin Wall falling down). The key also doubles as a keepsake – you get to take it home with you. 

Another fun thing to do is keeping your eyes peeled for famous figurines. We saw Spiderman on Brooklyn Bridge. Be sure to look for The Beatles in London and the Obamas in the White House.

We began with New York City, complete with the subway system. Seeing all of the famous landmarks reminded me that there’s still a lot to see in New York and that there are many places worth visiting again.

We headed over to Asia. I was in awe at the stunning architecture of some of the buildings. I had no idea Singapore, Beijing, and Shanghai has such spectacular skyscrapers. I have to put those cities on my bucket list.

One of my favorite exhibits was Jerusalem, the capital of Israel (also host to several other religions). Here’s the Western Wall:

At the end of the exhibit, near the gift shop, I saw several major DC landmarks, such as the White House, the Capitol Building, the Jefferson Memorial and the Washington Monument.

There are future exhibits in the works, such as Africa. We were able to see one in progress – an airport:

Like everything else, the airport looked so realistic and seeing it made me want to get on a plane and travel to one of the beautiful cities in the exhibit. For now, though, I will remain in New York, but my travel bucket list definitely has a few more must-do’s.
