Can you believe that Back to School Season is starting already? It actually officially kicked off on July 10th! We celebrated with Staples to find out the new trends and cool products for this school year. As an educator (0n childcare leave), I always shopped at Staples for my own classroom, because they treated teachers well and offered some fantastic deals. (Read more after the jump).
This year, snap up Staples’ Back to School Savings Pass. You’ll save 15% throughout the season with the pass, which costs $10. It’s valid through September 15 and it’s not valid on computers or calculators. If you have a lot of school supplies to buy, it will pay for itself! Click here for more info.
There are some smoking deals on school supplies right now –we found this deal – Staples® multipurpose paper, 8.5″ x 11″, 500 sheets for $1!
Staples for Students
We love Staples for Students, which is their national school supply drive. Now through September 15, Staples and DoSomething.org, along with Bella Thorne of Disney’s Shake it Up, are encouraging teens and their families to collect school supplies to help local students in need. You can drop off supplies at your local Staples’ location.
Recycle Old Binders!
Do you know that you can recycle your old binders at Staples? Shoppers will receive $2 off a new binder for each binder they bring in to recycle. This includes all binders sold at Staples including Staples Better Binders and Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery binders.
Trends for Back to School include: Designs such as retro graphics, sweets (cupcakes and such), beachy and nomadic, all exclusively produced for Staples. We also saw animal print staplers, cupcake pencil sharpeners and the fantastic Nexus 7 Mini Tablet from Google.
Check out this fun locker chandelier (which will also give your locker some light!)
At the online Staples Back-to-School Center, students and parents can shop for supplies by grade (from kindergarten to college) with an easy-to-navigate, site.
