I am in love with the #periscope app. The ability to instantly stream live is terrific and also a little scary. Kristin Hale (It’s Free At Last) and Courtney Pies (Optimistic Mommy) from the #MomBlogTour showed me how to stream live on Periscope in late June. But I wasn’t really sure when I should stream live and where to put it after. Plus, I hate vertical videos. I had seen some template tutorials on the web and kept saying, “Oh, I’ll try it soon..”
Then I saw the #SeptemberScopers Scope a Day Challenge on Instagram. Created by Lauren of WorkingMomMagic and Julie of Girl on the Move, with several other September Scopers, I decided to give it a whirl.
So, I did my day 2 Scope today — behind the Scenes. I usually edit my videos on YouTube very carefully and put loads of graphics.. but I just made a template and let it upload. Now I may not do this all the time, I may just go live and not upload to YouTube. Look for me on Periscope and show me some love!
Here it goes!
Note: It was 90 degrees in NYC and I didn’t have any makeup on. So it is truly, behind the scenes.
Like my background? I found out how to make a background for YouTube through this video by @MandyJeanChic. She’s brilliant and I did my graphic in PicMonkey.
So glad you’re joining us!!!
