KidBox Monthly Subscriptions: Save a Bundle on the Hottest Products!

12/13/2012 by Maytal

by Contributing Blogger Maytal Wichman

Receiving packages in the mail is always fun. Receiving packages in the mail with something you bought and saved a ton on is even more fun! KidBoxes is a monthly subscription services that sends you a variety full-size products for half the price if you bought them at a store. Sounds too good to be true? Find out how this unique service works. (Read more after the jump)

KidBoxes from Lalaalu is a monthly subscription of retail-size products worth over $60 in value. The subscription includes 5-7 natural-based and eco-friendly brands. The collection of products always includes something for mealtime, bath time and playtime and a treat for mom and dad too! These aren’t just some products randomly selected. They are all parent-endorsed and kid-approved by a panel of 15 NYC families. These families are a great representation of the membership base and include pediatricians, teachers, work-at-home dads and high-power exec moms. They recommend or test every product that makes the cut and ends up in a KidBox. You can read more about the families here. There are three types of Kidboxes and they are customized according to your child’s age: 0-12, 1-3 and 4-6. They make a fantastic gifts for the holidays as well as for baby showers.

I recently received a KidBox for review and was sent one that’s appropriate for babies. Here’s what I got:

  • Momma teether
  • Momma feeding bottle (8 oz., slow-flow)
  • Babo Botanicals Oatmeal Calendula Baby bubble bath & wash
  • NurturMe Organic Dried Baby Food. These are packets that come in various flavors such as banana, apple and squash. All you have to do is mix them with water, milk, formula or breastmilk.
  • The Honest Company hand sanitizer
  • LaLaBee Bottom Balm
  • Putumayo CD

My baby is too young to use some of the products but we did use the body wash, which smells great and contains flower and fruit extracts. I also loved the hand sanitizer. It’s not sticky and has a pleasant smell, unlike the ones that smell like a hospital.

A subscription is $30/month (or $25/month if you sign up for a subscription package) and shipping is always free. You can sign up here.

I was not compensated for this post. I received a sample.
