Please join Publicolor as they host their annual Primer & Top Coat Painting Party on Saturday November 16, 2013. This unusual benefit will bring together people of all ages to paint and revitalize the hallways of I.S. 50/P.S. 50 Vito Marcantonio (433 East 100th Street, New York City), a school that works exclusively with students who are at a higher risk of dropping out.
From 10am – 2pm, Parents and children will roll up their sleeves and add the first coat of bright and vibrant colors to the school’s walls fro the Primer Portion. Activities throughout the day will include face painting, games, food, splatter painting and entertainment. It is an amazing day of fun-filled painting that will positively impact hundreds of students and staff.
Roll up your sleeves and help us create a cleaner, safer, and brighter environment in which students can thrive and flourish! Tickets can be purchased online at www.publicolor.org/events/primer. Tickets are $25 for children and $75 for adults. All but $10 of the ticket price is tax deductible.
Editor’s Note: I actually taught 2nd grade at PS 50 from 1999 to 2004, this is an at-risk school with a wonderful staff. Please support them if you can.
